Article in .net magazine

My article was published in issue 215 of .net magazine titled “Personal Projects”… It’s all very well bringing home the bacon with client work, but remember to make some time for yourself and let your creativity run free.

I was invited by .net (the world’s best-selling magazine for web designers & developers) in March (2011) to write a 700 word opinion piece on a subject of my choice. As my work on Club Of The Waves had previously been featured in .net a few issues back, I thought I would follow up with an article on the same subject area; “Personal Projects”.

The article is about the importance of doing personal work, in addition to paid client work, as a learning experience and to strike a good balance in your portfolio.
